Nicholas Gustavson grew up in Southern California and earned a Bachelors in English and Economics from UCLA. Gustavson’s flash fiction story “Patterns” won an honorable mention in SCR/Exposition Review’s inaugural Flash 405 Contest. His short story “Tasting Class” is the Grand Prize winner of the Easy Reader 45th Anniversary Writing Contest. His entry “Montauk Ranch” finished third in a Writer’s Digest Your Story Contest and will be published in March 2016. Gustavson works as a private investigator and is cofounder of Corra Group, a background screening firm based in Los Angeles. Gustavson lives in Redondo Beach, California with his wife and two children.
